Why South Coast gardens need a different schedule
The mild, wet coastal climate here keeps grass growing well into the months an inland lawn would have slowed right down — a fortnightly mow through the warmer months and a monthly one over winter is usually right, rather than a generic year-round schedule.
A lot of our lawn and garden clients manage a property from out of town — sometimes the same holiday home or rental we already clean for them. A fixed schedule that runs without a phone call every fortnight is the actual point, not just the mowing.
Salt-tolerant coastal plantings still need regular attention to look their best, and overgrown gardens near bushland edges are a real concern through the drier months — a garden kept tidy year-round is safer as well as better presented.
