A personal touch that didn't disappear as we grew
Kiama Cleaning & Maintenance started in 2018 with Jaime Wilson and a single van, cleaning holiday rentals around Kiama and homes for local families — including a number of older residents who needed a trustworthy, reliable hand around the house more than they needed a big company. That's still who we are for a lot of our clients today.
Every property is cleaned to a written checklist, not a rough idea of what "clean" means — so the standard doesn't drift between visits, or between cleaners. It's the same discipline whether it's a family home, a holiday rental between guests, or an older client's home where being thorough actually matters to someone's day-to-day comfort.
Our cleaners are employed and trained by us, not subcontracted, and very few of them leave — most have been with us for years, not months. That's deliberate: we've kept the business a size where Jaime still knows every client and every cleaner personally, which means we only take on as many new clients as we can properly look after. If we're at capacity when you call, we'll tell you honestly rather than overpromise and let you down.
